To mark the official debut of SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Elizabethtown, KY, I had the honor of organizing a grand opening ribbon cutting celebration that brought the community together in true Kentucky Derby fashion - stylish, spirited, and purpose-driven.
With over 300 guests in attendance, the event delivered a full experience:
A signature Derby-themed cocktail, curated refreshments, and elegant hors d’oeuvres
Music, a themed photo booth, and festive guest activities
Exciting door prizes, local business giveaways, and behind-the-scenes hotel tours
A community give-back initiative that raised over $1,600 for Habitat for Humanity
Every detail was designed to reflect hospitality and heart, from guests donning their Derby best to the custom branding and décor that brought the celebration to life. The event not only introduced a new hotel to the region - it united local businesses, residents, and nonprofits in a shared moment of joy and generosity.
