Girls United Grand Opening Celebration

Project type

Ribbon Cutting

Date

April 2022

Location

Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Hosted at the historic Brown-Pusey House in downtown Elizabethtown, the Girls United ribbon cutting was an unforgettable evening filled with purpose, community, and celebration. With hundreds in attendance, guests heard inspiring words from Elizabethtown Mayor Jeff Gregory, Hardin County Clerk Brian Smith, Jeannette Stephens, and Girls United founder Christy Gordon.

The event featured stunning décor and catering by Elizabethtown Florist, generous door prize donations from local businesses, and the smooth sounds of live music by Max Grooves. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, we raised over $2,000 to further our mission of mentoring and empowering young girls throughout the county.

It was a joyful, heartfelt evening that beautifully marked the beginning of what Girls United is all about—connection, growth, and impact.
