Selena Hudson
Selena Hudson has worked in the mortgage industry for over 25 years and is deeply committed to financial literacy and economic development. She co-owns Riches and Glory Photography and is currently serving her third term on the Vine Grove City Council.
Selena serves on several boards and committees, including the ECTC Foundation Board, Knox Regional Development Alliance, Girls United and the Economic Development Advisory Committee. She co-founded the Hudson First Generation Scholarship to support first-generation college students at ECTC.
A passionate advocate for community growth, Selena leads a local nonprofit organization Get Your Money Right and host an annual seminar of the same name. She has published her first book, entitled Get Your Money Right: A Story about Creating Wealth in Underserved Communities.
Selena holds a BS in Management and an AAS in Computer Information Systems. She’s a Kentucky Colonel, a 2022 Hometown Hero, and has a Master’s in City Governance.
She enjoys serving at Heritage International Christian Church and spending time with her husband Michael, their six children, and seven grandchildren.

Why this book matters....
I wrote Get Your Money Right: A Story about Creating Wealth in Underserved Communities because I believe people deserve access to tools, knowledge, and opportunities that have too often been out of reach. This book is more than words on paper, it’s a blueprint for breaking cycles of poverty, reclaiming ownership, and building generational wealth.
It’s for the dreamer with a business idea, the family wanting to buy a home, and the young person searching for hope beyond survival. I wrote it to show that we don’t have to wait for change.....we can create it together.
